As long as you and your car are prepared, heading towards the road is going to be a nice experience. It is always a must to have everything prepared in advance. Last hour preparation is going to be a big disaster for you and the crew. Never forget those medicine and supplements that you always have such as glymetrol. Road trip is not definitely a thing of the past. Flying is a good experience but road trip is far more exciting. No one can beat the experience one will have on long road trips to visit families, attend meetings and simple have vacation. Do not leave those empty smelly plastic or candy wrapper from your last trip in the glove box or under the seat. So you will have a convenient road trip ahead of you. Make sure that your car was check by a vehicle technician before going on a trip. Ask them if oil level and car condition are okay for driving a long road trip. It might be too late and get all those troubles while you are already on the road. Always prepare your repair kit, extra tires and the phone of the nearest mechanic in case your car is in trouble.

Have all those places plotted in the map

Having your knowledge in navigation is essential to any trip, always have a map with you. Always check your route and mark out your way, those possible stops like gas stations and lodges. It's never too late to have some side trips to some nice places along the way. One good reason in taking a road trip is the experience you get from the places you have been with. When drivers wants to stop anywhere and anytime then they can, that's the beauty of road trip. But the worst thing could be, stopping at a busy motels and inns. A peak seasons and some hotel renovations are only a few of those reasons why those motels and inns are booked up. So, contact them days before the trip or end up camping.

Snacks, entertainment and gas

If you have you taste locked up on some Cheetos and Fritos, better think about your budget You can save your pennies by buying inexpensive chips and sodas. Always have a cooler (styrafoam are cheaper at WalMart) and load it up with bottled water and cola than buying it at any 7-11 on the road. Don't forget to stuff your car with LCD players and car stereo like kdc-x994. Look into those cheap gas sources in advance. Make sure you have moderate speed and enough pressure on the tires to save gas. Wasted gas, expensive snack and boring road trip should not be part of your list.
